2027-01 Fulfillment Packages

The 2027-01 API introduces packages for fulfillments. Packages group fulfillment items and store optional carrier, service, tracking, label, and weight information, making individual shipments easier to manage.

New Endpoints

• List packages for a fulfillment.
• Fulfill existing packages by ID.
• Update a package's shipping information, contents, or delivery state.
• Delete a package and reverse its packed quantities.

Changes to Existing Endpoints

• Pack line items now creates a package and returns its ID. Each successful pack request using the current fulfillment version creates a new package; retrying with the previous version returns 409 Conflict. Negative packing corrections are no longer supported.
• Fulfill line items and fulfill a sale accept optional shipping information. Line-item fulfillment's source_breakdown no longer accepts quantity_from_packed; fulfill packed quantities using the Fulfill packages endpoint instead.
• Fulfillment summaries now include packages.
